~Inside~







I put more focus on the outside of the house, and quality of the items on the inside. Since.. it is SPRING they should be outside! So they have the essentials. I crafted the framing and wooden walls out of flat wooden sticks. The Base of the tree is a transparent trash bucket wrapped in crinkled construction paper. I took apart a reptile light I had and mounted it to the transparent trash bin to give off a glow, and tore some holes in the paper. The windows are pieces of clear plastic cd cases I cut to shape. All the moss and bark is real, as well as some of the plants. Some tree limbs are wooden dowels painted. The sword was a popsicle stick I carved into a wooded sword since it is.. rpg! The CT shield is for Castor Troy, an item which I gave the hand puppets
The waterfall I painted white paper, watercolored the paper withgreen and blue for highlights. Then I melted a white candle and dripped it over the paper and rock. Then to give more form and color I did the same with a blue one. The jewelled Backpack was actually the hardest item to make. The blue foam paper didnt take to glue very well, so I would do small piece by piece 20 minutes at a time! All the jewels are the same color and placement as in game.
I had planned to place a medal of honor on the rack with the backpack since thats what the hand puppets are giving away as a gift for their new house, but I thought I had more time before I asked :/


All in all I'm very happy with the outcome, and I've seen a lot of great houses and I had a blast doing it.. (I wish I could take a pic of the mess I made! hahaha

ok id like to say that i love paulas house like id love to live there.... but castor id take that as my summer getaway i just hope there is a hidden elevator in the back.... im not gonna drag my d ham up a rope ladder like wtf
